Charles Mason, Camp HS/MS Coach
Coach Mason currently serves at Head Wrestling Coach at Mt. St. Joseph University in Cincinnati. In 2020, Coach Charles Mason was named the NWCA Division III Central Region Coach of the Year. In 2018-2019 Mason was named National Rookie Coach of the Year.
In Mason's first season as the head coach the team finished 2-8 in duals but improved his record in 2019-2020 when the team finished 12-6 in dual matches. Mason has led his squad to a team regional finish and has coached two national qualifiers and two All-Americans in both of his full seasons coached.
A native of Cincinnati, OH, Charles Mason attended Princeton High School where he was a two time state qualifier and placed 4th in 2010. Charles wrestled collegiately at Notre Dame College under coaches Frank Romano (Current Notre Dame College Head Wrestling coach) and Anthony Ralph (Current Ohio State Assistant wrestling Coach) where he was a 2x national qualifier. He served as a team captain for the Notre Dame College Falcons in 2014, and joined the staff as an assistant coach in 2015. After graduating he returned to Cincinnati where he coached at his alma mater Princeton High School, and assisted with the Cincinnati Vikings youth wrestling program.
Mark Jahad, Camp HS/MS Coach:
Coach Jahad has most recently served as the Assistant Wrestling Coach at Queens University of Charlotte, where he has been a key part of the program’s growth at the NCAA Division I level over the past two seasons. A passionate student and teacher of the sport, Jahad brings a wealth of competitive and coaching experience to every room he steps into.
As a competitor, Jahad was a four-year scholarship letterman at NC State University (2005–2009) and a member of the 2007 ACC Championship team. He placed 3rd at the ACC Championships as a senior and wrestled under Hall of Fame coach Bob Guzzo. Prior to college, he was a standout at Cary High School (Cary, NC) under legendary coach Jerry Winterton, winning the 2005 NCHSAA State Championship at 189 lbs with a season record of 56-1 and earning a spot on the NCHSAA All-Time Wins list with a career mark of 178-21. He was a 3x State Placer, 3x Regional Placer, and 3x Conference Champion, leading Cary to both Dual Team and Individual State Titles as a senior.
Jahad also has a strong foundation in coaching, with experience at the high school and club levels across North Carolina and Tennessee. He has served as a coach at Cary, Clayton, Enloe, Cleveland, and Ravenwood High Schools, and founded Atlantic Coast Wrestling Club, helping develop athletes of all levels.

Jahad’s technical approach, competitive pedigree, and commitment to athlete development make him a valuable asset to any wrestling camp looking to instill skill, toughness, and championship-level mindset in young athletes.
